A one-bedroom loft apartment in a 1920s building, recently renovated and located in the heart of Kalk Bay. This was a collaborative project with my mum, Nina Innes, a talented landscaper with a creative eye. I consulted on the interiors, helping to shape the direction of the space while honouring the building’s original character.

The brief was to preserve the old-world charm, including the Oregon pine beams and exposed brickwork, while introducing warmth, texture, and comfort. Natural light filters through the large windows and sunroof, while carefully curated furnishings and layered textures give the loft a warm, timeless appeal, a true escape by the sea.
